Mysterious Union is an intensely citrusy IPA ferrmented with blood orange juice and a blend of citrus flesh and peel. Dark and medium crystal malts provide a deep copper color and sweet toffee notes to balance the tart orange and berry notes of the juice. Centennial hops were used in both the brewhouse and as dryhops to add lemony-citrus notes. Another experimental hop variety was used to complexify the nose with aromas of passion fruit and mango.
