East Coast in effect for this year's Wet Hop American Summer (W.H.A.S.)! Our buddies at Black Locust Hops hooked us up with 50 lbs of wet Cascade hops grown in Freeland, MD. They gave us so much sticky hop goodness, we decided to add them in both the kettle and as dry hops in this classic IPA. Dryhopped with wet hops? Say what?!? Yes, that just happened! Then we used a blend of 2-row and imported Munich and Crystal malts to add toffee and caramel notes, and fermented it with a neutral ale yeast designed to make those hops sing. You can't get any fresher than this!
