Chesapeake & Maine is transforming into a speakeasy!

Tuesday, November 07, 2017

On December 5, 1933 the 21st Amendment to the United States Constitution was ratified, bringing the nationwide prohibition of alcohol in America to an end! To celebrate, Chesapeake & Maine is transforming into a speakeasy on Tuesday, Dec. 5!

With the Roaring Twenties comes black and white photos, and stealth jazz music from Bruce Anthony. Women, don your flapper dresses and pearls. Men, rock those suspenders and fedoras. We'll be giving a prize to the guest with the best 20s-inspired costume.

Tickets are just $40 and include prohibition-themed hors d'oeuvres handcrafted by Chesapeake & Maine chefs, along with two cocktails from Dogfish Head Distilling Co. and/or a Pre-Prohibition inspired Bock beer brewed exclusively for this event. It'll be a rip-roaring evening you won't want to miss!

Make sure to grab your tickets to gain access to 'The C&M Club!'

*And remember ... it’s a speakeasy, so 'shhhh!' Look out for the password (upon getting your tickets) to the secret entrance.
