This beer was brewed to benefit the Delaware Greenways Foundation, an awesome organization dedicated to preservation of scenic byways and trails in Delaware. To honor them we brewed this juicy DIPA with a health dose of malted spelt, an ancient form of wheat that sustained ancient Romans on their travels. It brings a subtle nuttiness and spice character to the beer. On top of this foundation we brought in a heaping dose of juicy hop varieties: BRU-1, Citra, Sabro and Mosaic. So enjoy a pint for a good cause and get out there and blaze some trails.
