Panna Cotta Porter

Panna Cotta Porter is a rich chocolaty English Style Porter inspired by Mario Batali's favorite Panna Cotta  recipe.  Incorporating English Black Treacle & Golden Syrup, fresh ground Ginger & Nutmeg, sea salt, lactose sugar, and Mario's special Roma blend Espresso from La Colombe, this unique ale bursts with rich spicy flavors reminiscent of the classic Italian dessert.  Deep and dark with a khaki head, Panna Cotta Porter. unfurls fall-spice notes in the nose with ginger being dominant followed by subtle hints of allspice.  The flavor follows suite with a background of gentle roasty espresso from the cold pressed coffee and a lush creamy mouthfeel from the unfermentable lactose sugar, with bittersweet chocolate and toffee rounding out the profile.   Mario shared his Panna Cotta Recipe with Sam while they discussed the Analog-A-Go-Go event which will be held at Birreria NYC on Dec. 14.  The Panna Cotta Porter will be served at this event and will also be brewed at Birreria NYC and Birreria Chicago.
