We brewed our version of a rich & fruity Baltic porter with a blend of bready & complex German malts and fermented it with a lager yeast at warmer temperatures to drive dark fruit characters like plum and cherry. Then we laid it down for a yearlong slumber in freshly emptied Let’s Get Lost Whiskey barrels from our brethren at Dogfish Distilling. It’s replete with aromas of Tootsie roll, burnt sugar & stewed fruits. The flavor is dense, sweet and warming with notes of chocolate, oak, vanilla and cherry.
