Leaf in Place is a playful exploration of a traditional Baltic porter infused with dried figs and toasted hazelnuts. Unlike a typical English porter, this Baltic porter was brewed from a blend of light and dark Munich malts, and was warm-fermented with a German lager yeast to bring forth fruity esters of plum and fig. Its flavors of toasty bread, chocolate and dark fruit are expressed with a slight touch of roast and spice.
