Le Pamplemousse Énorme
French for “big grapefruit”, Le Pamplemousse Énorme is a Belgian Tripel with grapefruit peel added in the whirlpool. This beer opens with aromas of grapefruit and spice, has firm bitterness supplied by Saaz hops and finishes dry with less alcohol burn than you would expect. This beer was the Co-worker Small Batch winner of spring 2015 and was brewed at the pub by its creators, Dogfish Head co-workers Amanda Petro and Aimee Garlit.
