Talus is a new hop variety from the Pacific Northwest. It's an interesting cross of a wild neaomexicanus hop and a Yakima Valley native hop. It has loads of pink grapefruit and tropical fruit with subtle notes of fresh herbs, pine and citrus rind. We brewed a simple base beer of pilsner malt, malted wheat and naked oats and hopped this beer with Talus in the brewhouse and in the dryhop. We heard you like new hop varieties, so we put some Talus on top of your Talus.
