I Came to Drop Balms is our take on a classic Shandy. We started with a crisp kolsch base, adding Warrior and Centennial hops during the boil. We then wanted to recreate that heavy, lemonade-like flavor that’s commonly found in Shandys, but we didn't want to use any powdery mixes or flavor extracts. Instead, we threw in a boatload of lemon balm! The result is a huge lemon flavor on the first sip … similar to those hard lemon candies grandmas pile up in their candy jars!

To round out the beer, we added sumac and blackberries for a slight fruitiness and a touch of tartness. Overall, I Came To Drop Balms is a clean and refreshing brew that clocks in at 5.3% ABV. Its lemonade-like quality makes it the perfect complement to a balmy summer day!
