Cucamonga

Every year, we head on up to Philadelphia to judge the Extreme Homebrew Challenge. This amazing event showcases the talents of the best homebrewers in the Philadelphia area, as well as presents us the unique opportunity to work with the winner of the competition to recreate their prized recipe. This year, the father-son duo Frank Hiller and Frank Hiller Jr. won with Cucamonga, a killer American Cream Ale aged on fresh cucumbers. Clean and crisp, this classic ale is bursting with cucumber character thanks to cold lagering on two bushels of the fresh, local fruit from our pals at Fifer Orchards. Cucamonga is invitingly refreshing and a perfect treat on a hot summer day.
