Caske Romano is a silky smooth slice of dark, roasty goodness. Created by Bryan and co-worker Jennie, this cask-conditioned porter is brewed from a classic blend of heavily roasted and caramelized malts, resulting in layers upon layers of coffee, toffee and cocoa sensations. And since life is better with coffee, we were inspired to add espresso beans from our pals at Rise Up Coffee Roasters and Lemondrop hops to the fermented beer as a nod to the caffè Romano, a classic espresso-based drink that is presented with a classy slice of lemon peel.
