Brunch is perhaps one of the greatest culinary inventions in the history of humankind. It's served at the perfect time – not too early or too late – so you can ease into the day. It's got a perfect not-quite-breakfast, not-quite-lunch menu to satisfy any craving. Eggs Benedict? Check. Bacon Cheeseburger? No problem! And other than in airports, it's the only place you can have a drink before noon and nobody looks at you funny. Our favorite brunch spots serve the classics – citrusy mimosas, peachy bellinis and fruity sangrias. For those of you that can't decide between these luscious libations, we've got you covered! Brunch is a Hybrid is a celebration of all our favorite wine-based brunch drinks crafted in a beer format. It starts with a simple grain bill of Pils and wheat malts, which provides a basic canvas to which we apply layers of Pacific Northwest late-harvest Viognier grape must, tart Italian blood orange juice and juicy peach puree. Then we fold in sliced organic oranges and lemons, and just a hint of lime zest for a bright citrusy pop. The result is a crisp, refreshing quencher for brunch time or anytime.
