Team building and legendary brews

Monday, November 01, 2010

Hey guys,

I have a short time in which to type but I wanted to give you the heads up on a few things.

As you may or may not know, we brewed some beers with Brooks Carretta who will be brewing at Birrerria at Eataly in NYC. Well, the firkins are full and ready to rip. We will be premiering the first of the two next Thursday. Spicy China is a Belgian-esque wheat beer with coriander and two varieties of exotic peppercorns. The second will go on when that kicks. Chet's Nuts is an Italian-American mild ale made with a bunch of English malt and smoked Italian chestnuts. They are both veddy nice.

On the 17th, we will be brewing and all pub team brew. We are meeting about ideas and recipe formulation tomorrow and I know we will come up with some cool stuff so stay tuned.

Some legendary brews are coming back. First will be Johnny Rawton PiLs; an obnoxiously American pils brewed with a LOT of palisade hops. I am giddy just thinking about it. Next will be the triumphant return of Snowblower. We are totally getting the tooolshed back together. This is the most requested beer amongst our Milton co-workers and we are more than happy to oblige. Details for this beer are available here: http://www.dogfish.com/brews-spirits/the-brews/on-hiatus-brews/snowblower-ale.htm

That is all.
