Riding the Waves into the First Beer & Benevolence Beer Series of 2023

Wednesday, March 01, 2023

Beer & Benevolence is the philanthropic part of who we are at Dogfish Head and with that it means supporting our deep roots here in coastal Delaware, especially when it comes to the environment- keeping our planet beautiful and clean. We don’t always take ourselves so seriously at Dogfish Head but when it comes to sustainability efforts that’s when we mean business, from our food that we serve to our beers that brew. Since 2021, the benevolence beer series is just one of our ways of giving back to the community that has helped us nourish those roots. A few of our previous non-profit partners from years past have been- Delaware Center for Inland Bays, Sussex County Land Trust and Delaware Wild Lands. Each year we release four limited beers in this series from Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats in Rehoboth Beach that benefits our non-profit friends.

Dogfish Head is excited to announce the first partnership of our 2023 Benevolence Beer series! We’ve partnered and ideated this brew with the Delaware Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation releasing a delicious Sticke Altbier on March 11, 2023, named Mostly Oceans. Dogfish Head will also be hosting Benevolence Nights at Dogfish Head’s Chesapeake & Maine and Brewings & Eats to benefit the Delaware Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation, as well as a delicious Beer Dinner inspired by this collaboration beer. Check out all the happenings for this partnership below.
