The ground hog may have been right!

What a great weekend, the deck was open and the great weather attracted a great number of folks to Rehoboth for the Chocolate Festival.  Dogfish Head is gearing up for our Chocolate beer dinner on Sunday March 15.  That event is sold out but there are still reservations for our April 19 Cheese dinner.

And then it turned a bit windy adn chilly and Friday morning brings about snow chilly reminders that winter isn't quite done yet.  A flurry or two won't cool things down too much at the pub....

We had a great turn out for our first cask tapping on Thursday night.  Thanks to all that came out and enjoyed an English Mild brewed by Bryan Selders from our Milton Brewery.  Mark your calendars for the SimulCask event.  On March 26, 2009 we will tap a cask of 75 Minute IPA at 7:50PM.  At the same time in New York, Philly and Boston casks will also be tapped.

We are looking forward to Welcoming back the Fleshtones to our stage on Friday March 13, 2009.  Special guests and local rock stars Big Fat Slim and the Has beens will be getting things started before the legendary Fleshtones take over and put on another great show at the pub.  Saturday brings back a DFH favorite Waiting on a Train.

Things are heating up at the pub...

Hope to see you there soon.

Cheers-
