Good things come in threes....

They say good things come in threes and I guess thats true as Dogfish Head Brewings and Eats has been recognized three times in almost as many weeks for things we do everydaywell almost every day. Our luck started with Chef Dennis winning a ribbon for his Palo Santo Chocolate Truffles at this years Rehoboth Chocolate Festival. Keep an eye out for those to be featured as a dessert special coming up in the near future. A few weeks later we participated in the Annual Gumbo Cook Off during Rehoboth Main Streets Mardi gras weekend and thanks to everyone that voted us one of the best pots of gumbo in town. Check out all the great things going on in Rehoboth at www.rehomain.com So if youre looking to let the good times roll come on down to the pub for some tasty gumbo featuring crawfish, andouille, shrimp and okra with a just enough spice to make you say Bam! Our distiller Alison took our Darkside Rum to the Gadsby Tavern Museum in Arlington, VA for the annual Rum Punch Challenge. Take a journey back to Colonial times at http://alexandriava.gov/GadsbysTavern. It is a great event and we are happy to win another blue ribbon for this years concoction, Tropic Thunder. Alison combined our dark side rum with strawberry, mango, lime and pineapple. Stop by the pub to try this award winning concoction.
