Dogfish Dash Raises $26k For Nature Conservancy

More than a thousand runners took to the streets of Milton on Sunday, September 26th raising $26,000 for The Nature Conservancy as part of the 2010 Dogfish Dash.

Registration for the 5th annual race opened on April 1, 2010 and closed at the end of July when the race hit the maximum number of 1500 registrants. In all, 1170 runners from 25 states finished the race, with 633 finishing the 5K and 537 completing the 10K.

The race included a costume contest, a post-race party featuring breakfast and Dogfish Head beer, keg sprints, raffle prizes and live music from Reedo & The Front Porch Offering.

In addition, more than 75 volunteers contributed their time to make the 2010 Dogfish Dash a success.
