April Showers bring cask conditioned 75 Minute IPA and Birds Leaving Texas

Tuesday, April 14, 2009

A full two days of rain and tax return deadline made for a pretty gloomy start to the week.  Things are looking brighter at the Rehoboth Pub.  Thursday brings clear skies, and the tapping of 75 Minute IPA on Cask.  The cask will be tapped at 4:30 PM and pour until it is gone.  It is also Pizza night at the pub, so bring your tax refund and enjoy a $6 dollar pizza and a pint of cask ale.  The annual Delmarva Birding Weekend is right around the corner. That means the skies will be full of migratory birds as they migrate back north as the weather warms up.

Check out Da Rezarekt, a "Funk-Rock-Hop" band will take the stage Friday night.  Often referred to as the "livest band on theplanet", their songs and live shows attract everyone, from the Hip-Hop heads, to the college generation and the normal everyday person. Everyone can find something they can relate too!

Tonight is also the debut of Beer Wars....Select theaters and one night only.  Check out www.beerwarsmovie.com

Leaving Texas returns to Dogfish for a CD Release party on Saturday night.  Don't miss this band.  They are an alt country rock band with a Texas twang that will keep your feet tapping and ears smiling.

All music starts at 10PM.  There is no cover for these bands so come on out and enjoy....

There is still some BA Select on tap, but it won't last forever.  Burton Baton, Aprihop, Palo Santo are being poured alongside our regular lineup.   There is an Abbey Double being aged in Bourbon Barrels and a yet to be named Indian India Pale Ale in the fermenter at the pub.

Come on down and see us at 320 Rehoboth Avenue.

Cheers-

Jason
