THE 2022 DOGFISH DASH IS FULL!
The Dogfish Dash is an off-centered road race taking place in historic Milton that starts and ends at the Dogfish Head brewery. The approximate distance for the 2022 Dogfish Dash is 3.8 miles* … because we like to go that extra (almost) mile. As in years past, we’re thrilled to be working with our longtime partners at Seashore Striders to help in executing the event and accurate timing.
The 2022 Dash not only has a new course, but it's now supporting a new beneficiary! We’ll continue to run for nature, only this time we’ll be focusing those efforts on our bays – benefitting the DE Center for the Inland Bays.
Registered runners will receive some sweet runner goodies that include a runner t-shirt, reusable shopping bag, and a reusable water bottle. Plus! Enjoy a post-run party with live music and some activities / information booths from this year’s beneficiary. Runners will receive two beverage tickets and some tasty post-run grub.
We’ll continue the tradition of the "Recycled Costume Contest,” so if you create an outfit made out of recycled stuff, you'll be entered to win some additional sweet prizes.
More details will be communicated via Runner emails, but heads up that we’ll have two packets pick-ups prior to race day.
- Wed. Sept. 21st in Rehoboth at Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats
- Sat. Sept. 24th in Milton at Dogfish Head Craft Brewery
We are stoked to see you in Milton come September!
*Please note: final race course is pending appropriate agency approval, so distance could vary slightly. Course route will be provided after final approval and included in future registered runner emails.
The Tasting Room & Kitchen will be fully closed to the public on Sunday, Sept. 25. We apologize for any inconvenience!
Summer is coming to a close, and it's about time to start trading our swimsuits in for sweatshirts. To kick-off harvest season, we are welcoming our off-centered neighbors and friends to the Milton Tasting Room & Kitchen for our second-annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 8, and attendance is free!
From 11 a.m. – 5p.m., join us on our Grassy Knoll to enjoy live music, food trucks, art and more!
Start off by grabbing some food and drinks and help us welcome this year’s musical guests, Homestead Blue Grass Band and Hot Sauce, to the stage. Check out The Developing Artist Collaboration with their DIY acrylic paint Pour Overs! Then, take a stroll and stop at each booth, run by businesses and artisans from our local Delaware community:
• KAM Productions – 302 Horseshoe Crab
• Local Waves Studio
• Chrissy Bees Honey (Stag Run Farm)
• Devil Daves – Bloody Mary Mixes
• Byzantium Sky Press
• Art by George Todd
Stay tuned for more!
Later, head over to the Tasting Room & Kitchen where you can enjoy food and cocktail specials while jammin’ out with DJ 45. Here, you can also hop on an Off-Centered Tour or a special tour of our Steampunk Treehouse.
But that’s not all! In collaboration with our friends at Dewey Beer Co. and Fifer Orchards, we’re releasing a brand-new fall beer in honor of Harvest Festival. Brewed with apple juice fresh from Fifer Orchards, maple syrup and brown sugar, Deep Delish (9.7% ABV) radiates notes of maple and apple crisp for a fresh-from-the-oven flavor. Available only while supplies last, 6pk/16oz cans are priced at $14.
A portion of the proceeds from this year’s Harvest Festival will benefit Brandywine Valley SPCA. Come eat and/or drink for a cause … and be sure to bring your pup over to our on-site dog photobooth happening 1p.m-3p.m. to show your support!
