He has been performing professionally for 8 years now. His influences include Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones, and Jimmy Buffet just to name a few. His powerful vocals and precision guitar work have made him a crowd favorite on the local music scene.

It’s our birthday ... we’ll get tattoos if we want to!! Head on over to our Milton Brewery from 12 – 6 p.m. for a Tattoo Shop Pop-Up featuring FOUR incredible live music sets!! Joeseph Furio, a talented, local artist, will be onsite with Dogfish Head tattoos so you commemorate 30 years of brewing off-centered ales with some fresh ink. And for those drinkers brave enough to get inked alongside Dogfish, we’re giving you $30 towards a tattoo of your choice! We’ll also have live music, birthday cake, and plenty of beers so you can celebrate while you’re getting inked, or even if you’re not! 

Outside the music kicks off with Jace Miller of Alright Junior from noon to 2:00 P.M., followed by Jamie Salvatore of Jamie & the Guarded Heart from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., and Pawnshop Roses Duo wrapping things up from 4:00 P.M.to 6:00 P.M.

Then, head inside for Jon Snodgrass on the Inside Stage at 6:30 P.M., bringing the house down and closing out an unforgettable day of music and celebration. 

To help celebrate, our good friend Jon Snodgrass wrote three songs about our 30th birthday! These songs are being pressed into a limited-edition 7" vinyl record which will be available for sale at our 30th Birthday Extravaganza Tattoo Shop Pop-Up at the Milton Brewery. The A-side will feature a brand new single from Jon called Go Go GhOst while the B-side will have the three Dogfish Head 30th birthday songs (Brewery by the Sea; DFH, That’s My Crew; Still by the Sea). Only 500 copies will be available for $7 each.

And while you’re here, WE NEED YOUR HELP! We're curating a Dogfish Head archive at this year’s Analog-A-Birthday (AKA Analog-A-Go-Go), and we want you to bring in your Dogfish Head artifacts from over the years. Throughout the day, a team from History Factory, a corporate archival company, will be examining and cataloging off-centered artifacts. Folks will have the opportunity to loan or donate their Dogfish Head memorabilia for use in a museum-style exhibit at the brewery’s Analog-A-Go-Go event in November, when we throw the biggest 30th birthday celebration you’ve ever seen.

Calico Sparx is a rock ‘n’ roll musician originally from Louisiana, currently residing in the greater Philadelphia area. Calico is a professional vocalist, and also plays guitar and bass. Calico writes original music and also travels as an acoustic cover act. As an acoustic act, Calico covers rock ‘n’ roll from the 1950s to the early 2000s. Bands like Alice In Chains, Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Rolling Stones, JJ Cale, Whitesnake, Poison, Buddy Holly and many more! Want to cheer on all the folks Dashing along the way?? This year you can! We’re encouraging any and all supporters to line this year’s race route (details coming soon) and cheer on your fellow Dashers! We’ll be hosting a sign-making craft night to help get the wheels turning! Swing on by the Milton Brewery on Thursday, September 25 from 4 – 6 p.m. to make some cheer signs with us. We’ll provide the crafting supplies – you bring the cheer!

The Off-Centered Race Returns!

Our annual Dogfish Dash is back on Sunday, September 28th, so mark your calendars because registration will open on June 5th!! 

Join us for an off-centered road race starting and ending at Dogfish Head’s Milton Brewery, covering approximately 3.81 miles through historic Milton and scenic nature views. All proceeds from the Dash benefit the Sussex County Land Trust, helping to preserve the beauty and heritage of our local environment.

Registration opens June 5th—don’t miss your chance to secure your spot for this fun, meaningful event!

PLUS, we’re continuing the tradition of the Recycled Costume Contest, so start planning those costumes for a chance to win some  amazing prizes! And, as always, we're keeping the party running after the race with live music and delicious post-run refreshments. AND, we’ll be collecting used running shoes for Sneakers4Good to recycle them for a positive impact!
