Wednesday, September 5 to Wednesday, September 26
Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats
320 Rehoboth Ave.
Rehoboth Beach, Delaware 19971

From up and coming young artists to more experienced musicians, we'll be featuring local music every Wednesday night from 7-9 p.m.!

Check out our September lineup!

September 5 – Seth Reynolds
Seth will be entering high school this year as a freshman at Cape Henlopen High School. He began performing earlier this year at a few local venues and looks forward to bringing his repertoire of classic rock and pop covers to Dogfish Head.

September 12 – Bryan Scar
Bryan Scar has been composing, writing and performing since 1991, and has traveled from Delaware to North Carolina and everywhere in between to play and share his music! Drawing inspiration from the American countryside, his personal life journeys and events in history, he’s now released two albums and was nominated for the ‘Best Local Artist’ award in 2016.

September 19 – Rebecca Frazier
Rebecca Frazier gained notoriety as the first woman on the cover of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine, and has since become known as ‘a genuine triple threat as singer, songwriter, and flatpicking guitarist’ by Nashville Scene. In 2017, Paste Magazine included Frazier in their piece titled ‘7 Women Smashing the Bluegrass Glass Ceiling.’ In 2018, Frazier was the first woman to be nominated for Guitar Player of the Year by the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America (SPBGMA).

Frazier is widely known for her work with award-winning Colorado-based bluegrass outfit, Hit & Run. The only band to win all three Rockygrass, Telluride, and SPBGMA Festival Band competitions, this successful touring act has graced stages of prestigious festivals and venues in 42 states and Canada, and eventually migrated to Nashville in 2007 with two studio albums under their belts.

After experiencing a personal tragedy and subsequent break from touring, Rebecca focused solely on her writing for 2 years. The result is her transparent 2013 Compass Records release, When We Fall, which has had surprising success, reaching #3 on the Roots Music Report National Bluegrass Chart, #6 on the Bluegrass Today Monthly Chart, and garnering praise as ‘Best Bluegrass Album of 2013’ by Bluegrass Situation. Nashville journalist Craig Havighurst dubbed Rebecca Frazier ‘East Nashville real deal bluegrass.’

September 26 – Jeff Evans
A longtime fan of Dogfish Head and local music, Jeff Evans will take the stage and take his turn performing for local music lovers. Don’t miss his first performance at Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats!

knotty-bits-bottle-7.jpg

We’re kicking off our ‘Wooden … it be nice!’ wild beer program with the release of 2,000 (375ml) bottles of KnottyBits – a wild ale aged on sweet and sour cherries, and rhubarb – at our Milton Tasting Room & Kitchen on Saturday, September 29 at 11 a.m.

Clocking in at 8.2% ABV, KnottyBits was wood-aged for a year with Brettanomyces Bruxellensis, and then racked onto several hundred pounds of sweet and sour cherries, and locally-sourced rhubarb we got from our good friends at Fifer Orchards. That’s more than 2 lbs. of fresh fruit per gallon!

Bottle-conditioned for an elevated carbonation that resembles a rose-colored sparkling wine, this beer is a perfect balance of funk and acidity. Hand-bottled – cork and cage style – and hand-painted with a special stripe signifying its uniquely-crafted touch, KnottyBits is priced at $10 per bottle.

Saturday, October 20
Dogfish Head Brewery
6 Cannery Village Center
Milton, Delaware 19968

New this year ... we're teaming up with our adventurous friends at Velo Amis to bring you a whole new Dogfish Head experience on two wheels! Introducing ... the Dogfish Head I.P.A.! A gran fondo style bicycling tour of southern Delaware, rides will start and finish at our Milton brewery with distances of 60 KM, 90 KM, and 120 KM (see what we did there?).

Registration opens Wednesday, May 16 at noon, as well as our route reveal!
*Our EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION FEE is $75 and it will last for 1 MONTH ONLY! The registration fee will increase to $100 on 6/15/18 at 12:01am (EST). The registration fee will then increase to $125 for Day of Registration.*

Your entry includes not only a sweet bike route, but also an event water bottle, event cycling socks, tasty post-ride grub, live music, and two Dogfish Head craft beers (for riders over 21 only). Our Milton brewery tasting room will be open after the event, so that means NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL of any kind at the event!

Remember, this is not a race. Enjoy a gran fondo style ride taking in the history and culture of southern Delaware with your friends, family and perhaps new friends you meet along the way!

Registration is limited to 1,500 riders. The first 200 registered riders will receive a cool Dogfish Head cycling cap!

Funds raised during the event will go toward bicycle safety programs across the state of Delaware via Sussex Cyclists and the Urban Bike Project. For the Urban Bike Project portion of our donation, we are partnering with PLEDGEREG - an online fundraising tool. Each rider will be given a link to their personal PLEDGEREG fundraising page. You may also partner with others to create fundrasing teams. While riders are encouraged to fundraise for this event, it's certainly not a requirement for participation!

The routes are mostly flat and almost entirely on rural roads, however the 120 KM route may include a small section of trail and includes a ferry crossing of the Nanticoke River. The course will be well-marked and aid stations will be well-stocked, but ultimately you are responsible for your ride, so please be sure to download maps and cue sheets (these will be available once online registration closes)!

Want to get involved without riding? We're looking for volunteers! Volunteers will receive a free volunteer shirt, food and drink and lots of LOVE! Stay tuned for additional information on volunteering!

Please visit the Dogfish Head I.P.A. Facebook Event Page for up-to-date information from us and our friends at Velo Amis!

We can't wait to see you in October!
