Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats in downtown Rehoboth Beach, Delaware is where Dogfish Head all began back in 1995. We have the state's only legal distillery where we make lots of hand-crafted spirits, upstairs in our Rehoboth Beach Brewpub, and a small experimental brewery, so we always have something interesting on tap or in the fermenters for you to try! No matter what the occasion, we know you'll enjoy yourself at Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats, so come stop by for a visit!

Beers On Tap

province

Province Windsor Ale, 8.5% abv

Province Ale Company’s fourth release is a brew that has been “held in high estimation for several years in London.”  Brewed with Halcyon and Optic English pale malts and the finest East Kent Golding and Fuggles hops and then fermented with an ale yeast originating from London itself, Windsor Ale is a distinguished strong English style pale ale.  Straw colored with a rich bready malt character balanced by earthy hops, Windsor Ale is a throwback descendent of today’s modern Pale Ales and IPA’s.

Dorchester Ale, 7.2% abv

The 5th installment in the Province Ale Company Series is a peculiar brew that was “by many esteemed the best in England, when the materials are good, and the management judicious.”  To that end we acquired the finest English Fuggles and East Kent Golding hops, along with traditional English Pale Ale malt and a true British Cask yeast strain to ferment the elixir.

Brewpub Exclusives

Good Helles, 6.6% abv

Hoppy unfiltered lager brewed with pilsner, munich and special roasts hopped with Calypso.  Lager yeast fermentation lends a crisp clean finish with a nice Calypso hop bite to balance out the toasted bread and honey sweet notes.

History of Past Years, 2% abv

An Eastern European Kvass, traditionally made with stale bread.  Our version brewed with our European co-workers was made with malted barley, rye and wheat.  Mint was added to the fermenter before a lactic fermentation. Ale yeast finished off the fermentation.  Floral with a gentle acidity to welcome spring.

Year Round & Seasonal

Sixty-One, 6.8% abv

Our newest year round brew, Sixty-One captures the tradition of two Dogfish Head innovations: beer/wine hybrids and continuous hopping. Syrah grape juice and lots of hops results in a fruity complexity and pungent hoppiness

60 Minute IPA, 6% abv

Continuously & intensely hopped. A session I.P.A. brewed with Palisade & Simcoe hops. A powerful East Coast I.P.A. with a lot of citrusy hop character. The session beer for hardcore beer enthusiasts!

90 Minute IPA, 9% abv

An I.P.A. with a great malt backbone that stands up to the extreme hopping rate.

Raison D’Etre, 8% abv

Voted “American Beer of the Year” by Malt Advocate Magazine. A deep, mahogany ale brewed with beet sugar, green raisins, and Belgian-style yeast. As complex as a fine red wine.

Tweason’ale, 6% abv

A gluten-free sorghum beer with honey and loads of strawberries

Indian Brown Ale, 7.2% abv

A cross between a Scotch ale, an I.P.A., and an American Brown. Our Indian Brown Ale is well-hopped and malty at the same time. This beer is brewed with aromatic barley and organic brown sugar.

Burton Baton, 10% abv

A blend of oak-aged English ale and our 90 Minute I.P.A.

Aprihop, 7% abv

An I.P.A. with a soft, velvety tone of apricot running through the taste.

Midas Touch, 9% abv

An ancient Turkish recipe using the original ingredients from the 2700 year old drinking vessels discovered in the tomb of King Midas. Somewhere between wine & mead; this smooth, sweet, yet dry ale will please the Chardonnay and beer drinker alike.

Firefly Ale, 5% abv

Celebrate the roots of great music with this English-style pale ale  brewed with Marris Otter and English Heritage and American Calypso hops, brewed for the annual music festival in Dover, DE

Limited Releases

Sah’tea, 9% abv

A modern update on a 9th century Finnish proto-beer. Brewed with rye, we caramelize the wort with white hot river rocks, then ferment it with a German Weizen yeast.

Positive Contact, 8% abv

A wit-type brew with apples, apple cider, cilantro, cayenne pepper, farro, and calypso hops. Between beer and cider. Between food and beer. Between us and you.

Namaste, 5% abv

A Belgian-style White made with dried organic orange slices, fresh cut lemongrass and a bit of coriander. This beer is a great summer quencher.

Palo Santo Marron, 12% abv

An unfiltered, unfettered, unprecedented brown ale aged in handmade wooden brewing vessels. The caramel and vanilla complexity unique to this beer comes from the exotic Paraguayan Palo Santo wood from which these 10,000 gallon tanks were crafted

Cask 75 Minute IPA, 7.5% abv

A blend of our 60 & 90 Minute IPAs dry hopped, cask conditioned with maple syrup & served right around 55°

Black & Blue, 10% abv

A Belgiany strong ale fermented with blackberries and blueberries.

Chateau Jiahu, 10% abv

An ancient Chinese recipe dating from 7000 B.C. Brewed with rice, honey, grapes and Hawthorne fruit.Join us for an American Craft
