In conjunction with the book, Dogfish Head created a documentary-style video series journey demonstrating what extreme brewing means to their individual exploration in craft beer including pals from Short's Brewing, Carton Brewing, The Post Brewing Co., The Lost Abbey/Port Brewing Co., BeerAdvocate, and the Godfather of Homebrewing, Charlie Papazian of the Brewers Association.  Alewife will be showing all six episodes during the event, along with a panel discussion and a Q&A with Sam and the Alström Brothers.

The event will feature food, celebrity guests from the craft beer world, the screening of the videos, and extreme beer, including Puddin’ Wine, a collaboration with the Alström brothers and featured in the  book , which is a traditional English-style Barleywine with an adventurous touch.

Dogfish Head founder and CEO Sam Calagione has been hard at work with his brothers from another mother – Todd & Jason Alstom of BeerAdvocate – on an all-new book collaboration - Project Extreme Brewing: An Enthusiast’s Guide to Extreme Brewing at Home! Releasing this October, Project Extreme Brewing is the ultimate authoritative primer on extreme brewing for homebrewers.

Join Sam on Sunday, Nov. 19 as he talks about this one-of-a-kind project and what exactly ‘extreme brewing’ means to him. You’ll also find Dogfish Brewing Ambassador Bryan Selders on hand to chat about all-things beer, and perhaps a few extreme brewing stories of his own!

In addition to this ultimate guide, we’ve enlisted our pals from Short’s Brewing, Carton Brewing, The Post Brewing Co., The Lost Abbey/Port Brewing Co., BeerAdvocate, and Charlie Papazian of the Brewers Association to create a six-part, documentary-style web-series that explores what extreme brewing has meant to each of them.

Episodes from the series will be screened, along with a Q&A panel discussion with Sam and Bryan.

Tickets cost $45 and include a signed copy of the book by Sam, as well as a signed crowler of the Sam and Charlie Papazian’s ‘extreme’ collaboration brew, Goat Scrotum.
Seating is limited friends (only 100 spots!), so nab your tickets now

PS - Our Sunday brunch menu will be available to order from during the event, so grab a bite to eat and a cold brew!
