Midas Touch, Indian Brown and 90 Minute make us proud!

Here at Dogfish Head, we think of our dozens of beers as our children. We love them all equally.

But every once in a while, a few of our children stand out from the rest, and we can't help but beam like proud parents.

First up, Midas Touch. For the second year in a row, Midas earned a medal at the European Beer Star. Midas was one of 1,366 beers from 45 countries competing in this year's Beer Star, and it captured Silver in the Specialty Honey category.

judgesThanks to the judges at the European Beer Star and Brussels Beer Challenge!

Released in 1999, the year-round Midas Touch was our first swing at reviving ancient brewing traditions. The recipe is based on molecular evidence found in the Turkish tomb of King Midas and includes white Muscat grapes, saffron and – of course – honey!

Next up, Indian Brown Ale brought home a Silver Medal in the Brown Ale category at the first-ever Brussels Beer Challenge. Our off-centered cross between a Scotch ale, an IPA and an American brown was competing alongside 500 beers from 16 countries.

IBA wasn't the only one to shine in Brussels. The continually-hopped 90 Minute IPA brought home a Bronze in the Imperial IPA category.

Congratulations, kids. We love you!

Congrats, Midas!Congrats, Midas!
