Our 60 Minute IPA is continuously hopped - more than 60 hop additions over a 60 minute boil (getting a vibe yet of where the name came from?). 60 Minute is a session India Pale Ale brewed with a slew of great NorthWest hops. A powerful, but balanced East Coast I.P.A. with a lot of citrusy hop character. The session beer for hardcore beer enthusiasts!

In our Quick Sip Clip video below, Sam Calagione talks about the 60 Minute IPA and for some perspective, compares this beer to its predecessor 90 Minute IPA and big-brother 120 Minute IPA. Sam stepped out of the brewery for the taping of this Quick Sip Clip and comes to us from the place where it all of this started - Dogfish Head, Maine (which, by the way, is a great area for a summer visit ... especially if you have a cold 60 Minute IPA to sip while enjoying the fantastic coastal Maine sunsets!).
