Test Batch Sixty-One is a new brewpub exclusive based on the fan favorite 60 Minute IPA. For this one we used the same hops as 60 Minute IPA, but doubled up on dry hopping and added a generous dose of Syrah grape must during fermentation.
The resulting brew is fruity and hoppy with supporting vinous notes and a crisp dry finish. The aroma is full of that wonderful pungent citrusy grassy hoppiness that we all know and love with that underlying vinous character drawing you in to investigate more. The beer pours a faint light purple from the Syrah addition with a fluffy white head.
