In honor of the annual Rehoboth Beach Oktoberfest brewer (and pub GM extraordinairre) Jason Weissberg has brewed an Alt beer using traditional German Malts and finishing it with a nice shot of hops to balance the malty, biscuit flavors.
This orange/amber brew finishes with a smooth, dry bitterness and is 5.5%ABV.
A perfect Ale to welcome the harvest season and cooler temperatures.
AltOberfest will be tappted on Friday 9/25/09. There will be plenty left for Oktoberfest weekend (10/2-4/2009).
Due to the limited availability of AltOberfest, growlers are not available.
