The Perfect Disguise

Is it an IPA disguised as a Kölsch or a Kölsch disguised as an IPA?

On the surface, The Perfect Disguise looks like a straightforward Kölsch with a crisp Kölsch yeast and traditional German malts and hops … but things aren’t always what they seem. With a quick sniff and a slight sip, you’re greeted by a creamy mouthfeel and full body, thanks to the addition of a unique German chit malt – the first hint that this beer may be something different. Hiding deeper behind that German disguise is the double dry-hopping of an American Double IPA, with nearly 4 lbs. of German and American hops per barrel to bring forth tropical flavors of citrus, tangerine, mango, gooseberries and peach.

So, is it an IPA disguised as a Kölsch, or a Kölsch disguised as an IPA? Come on out to our Rehoboth brewpub or Milton Tasting Room & Kitchen on Friday, January 11 starting at 11 a.m. to try it and decide for yourself!

That’s not all, folks! To celebrate the release of this surreptitious sipper, we’re offering a stealthy appetizer special at our Rehoboth brewpub. Starting at 4 p.m., we’ll be serving up some covert cupcakes! Meatloaf cupcakes with mashed potato frosting, candied bacon and mirepoix sprinkles, this savory (disguised as sweet) treat is sure to surprise! Get three for just $12 or grab just one for $4.
