From up and coming young artists to more experienced musicians, we'll be featuring local music every Wednesday night from 7-9pm!
At the corner of folk and country, you’ll find Jason Filasky. Jason is a Delaware native who started playing music at a young age. Over his twenty years of active military service, music became Jason’s sanctuary while traveling and during deployments. As Jason says, “Music had a way of taking me home.” While Jason’s musical influences come from a wide variety of artists and genres, he has always been drawn to storytellers—artists like Bob Dylan, James Taylor and Ray Lamontagne, to name a few. Inspired by their troubadour style, relatable stories and strong lyrics, Jason’s own music is a melting pot of country, folk and roots rock and roll. Jason’s own personal story is written in his songs and shared openly in his live performance. Jason’s travels, his military experiences and his love for coastal living right here in the First State are clear and dominant themes in his writing. Jason uses his influences to deliver a broad mix of original material and familiar covers in a unique way. Jason’s music is like a low-country barbecue on a hot summer night— great songs with a little spice and a lot of hospitality.
