From up and coming young artists to more experienced musicians, we'll be featuring local music every Wednesday night from 7-9 p.m. ... and on July 24, Meredith Rounsley takes the stage!
Nashville transplant Meredith Rounsley combines a warm, soulful voice and rhythmic, acoustic guitar with singer-songwriter sensibilities to craft songs about love, distance and heartbreak. Her debut release, Weapon, was recorded in her home state of Maryland after a few years spent making music in Sydney, Australia. Since then, she has toured the east coast consistently, with residences at favorite local venues, house concerts stretching from Canada to Georgia, and sets at esteemed singer-songwriter venues (Rockwood Music Hall, The Bitter End, Jammin’ Java, Gyspy Sally’s, Burlap and Bean). Her original music has been featured as a “New and Notable” release on Noisetrade and showcased at The Freeman Stage’s “Locals Under The Lights” event.
