Weekend of Compelling Ales and Whatnot

Our 2012 WOCAAW got us thinking outside of the bottle a bit, and we wanted to put together a weekend full of as many off-centered ales as we could throw your way. This year instead of celebrating a few unique ales, we thought it would be quite fun to offer a Dogfish Head festival of sorts at the brewery on Saturday that would mesmerize the palette of any craft beer lover.

Friday, March 9th

LOCATION: Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats / Rehoboth Beach

• Happy Hour 3 6 PM
• Friday Night Randallizations

- 120 Minute IPA with fresh hops

- Burton Baton with Vanilla Beans, Brown Honey Rum Oak Chips, and Hops

• Brewers Social 6 7 PM

- Stroll on upstairs and chat craft beer with some Dogfish brewers

Saturday, March 10th

LOCATION: Dogfish Head Craft Brewery / Milton

• 15 Dogfish Head Craft Ales available for sample
• A kick-ass WOCAAW mini English pint glass
• Cheese and Beer Pairings
• Askinosie Chocolate (www.askinosie.com) and Beer Pairing (these are the folks that supply the cocoa nibs in our ancient ale, Theobroma)
• Hand-made Pretzels from some local guys at Dolce Bakery (www.dolcebakery.com)
• Small-Batch Brewing Demonstrations (and a sample of what that programs has a brewing)
• Sam will be hanging out in the Big Tent for a chunk of the day to chat beer and other ponderings on life
• Brewery Tours (limited to 210 folks)

- World Wide Stout with Vanilla Beans, Fresh Coffee Beans, and Cocoa Nibs
