Mardi Gras Comes To Rehoboth

Type: Happenings

Start Date: 2/1/2008

Restaurant: DFH Brewings & Eats, Rehoboth

Location: Rehoboth Beach, DE

Come celebrate Mardi Gras in downton Rehoboth Beach this February. From Friday, 2/1 through Sunday 2/3, the town is 'kickin it up a notch!'

Dogfish Head, in conjunction with Rehoboth Beach Main Street celebrates Mardi Gras - Rehoboth Style! Restaurants throughout town will be putting out their best Big Easy spreads, letting the drinks flow and handing out beads, beads and more beads! It's not all just for fun - we're also banding together to raise money to help the community of  Houma, LA rebuild the boardwalk they lost in hurricane Katrina.

In addition to meals and mayhem, Dogfish Head is also taking part in the town-wide Gumbo Cookoff on Saturday, 2/2 (4pm - 7pm). Gumbo Cookoff ballots are just $5.00 and are available at the Rehoboth Beach Main Street office or one of the participating Gumbo Cookoff restaurants.
