7:00 - 8:00 pm - The Boogie Monsters  (Austin Texas)

www.theboogiemonsters.com www.myspace.com/theboogiemonsters

THE BOOGIE MONSTERS - They're are a hard rocking blues band With a dash of Pop and Motown style soul thrown in for flavor.  They push the envelope in many directions but what really matters to a fan is, music with soul and energy that makes the listener feel something and remember that they enjoyed the band, the music, the performance, and the recording.  The Boogie Monsters do that!!  They have guts, rocking guitars, great vocals, and a tight rhythm section as they hold their own with the best.  Gracing the stage with such Blues acts as The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Tommy Castro Band, Charlie Musselwhite, Kenny Neal, Pinetop Perkins, Paul Delay, and The Holmes Brothers. Rock acts Halestorm, Stan Ridgeway, AC-Dshe, Tishamingo, The Red Elvises, Surf King Dick Dale and many more.  The Boogie Monsters have released two independent CDs that have sold from Southern California to Eastern Europe.  Plus they're one of the most popular blues bands on the Austin scene.

6:00 - 6:35 pm - Eli *Paperboy* Reed & The True Loves  (Boston MA)

www.elipaperboyreed.com www.myspace.com/elipaperboyreed

ELI *PAPERBOY* REED & THE TRUE LOVES - “There are singers who sing and there are singers whose sheer power of expression can knock you off your feet. Eli ‘Paperboy’ Reed falls firmly into the latter category ... [he] threatens to be one of the defining voices of the year” - MOJO MAGAZINE - - - “The audience was fully swept up in the soul wayback machine [Reed] and his band constructed ... one look at Reed wailing his guts out and it was clear he meant every note.” - BILLBOARD - - - “Mr. Reed invokes the stylish and muscular R&B of Otis Redding and Sam Cooke with convincing suavity.” - THE NEW YORK TIMES - - - “A whole-hearted son of soul ... Amy Winehouse better watch her back.” - VILLAGE VOICE

Eddie did stints with the dB's, Divine Horsemen,

4:00 - 4:35 pm - Steve Poltz  (San Diego CA)

www.poltz.com www.myspace.com/stevepoltz

STEVE POLTZ - He trick-or-treated at Liberace's house, planned a two-day stay in Amsterdam that ended a month later with him escaping the city under the cover of darkness, and was Bob Hope's favorite altar boy. Alone, these anecdotes go well with a fistful of peanuts at a cocktail party. But on top of these add that this person also co-wrote the longest-running song on the Billboard Top 100, had a debut solo album that earned three and a half stars in Rolling Stone, and was awarded the title of "San Diego's Most Influential Artist of the Decade" at the San Diego Music Awards. What you end up with is one of the most engaging, twisted, and prolific songwriters of our time - Steve Poltz.

3:00 - 3:35 pm - Maren Morris  (Arlington TX)

www.marenmorris.com www.myspace.com/marenmorris

MAREN MORRIS - Although having just turned 17, Maren has been performing live for many years and recorded her first CD at age 14. Maverick Magazine (UK) said Maren "...conjures Emmylou Harris, Bonnie Raitt and Natalie Maines" while the Fort Worth Weekly called her "...a tiny hurricane of blue-eyed soul." ." Whatever you call her Maren's innate vocal phrasing, intuitive writing and solid guitar performances stun audiences. She has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with such talent as Jack Ingram, Miranda Lambert and Bob Schneider among others. She recently received awards for 2007 Songwriter and Female Vocalist of the year from Fort Worth Weekly.

2:00 - 2:35 pm - Ruby Jane Smith  (Mississippi / Texas)

www.mississippifiddler.com www.myspace.com/rubyjanesmith

RUBY JANE - 12 year-old fiddler , Ruby Jane is a fast-rising star in the landscape of country and bluegrass-Americana music. At age ten, Ruby Jane performed on the coveted Grand Ole Opry stage, making Opry and music history as the youngest ever invited fiddler. Ruby Jane also writes her own original songs and plays several instruments including mandolin, harmonica, guitar, and spoons. She is learning to play bass, banjo, and dobro. For the past two years, she has competed in dozens of prestigious music competitions and performed with many bluegrass greats. 2007 has been a whirlwind for the young fiddler, Ruby preformed at CMA Music Fest with Big & Rich, she was awarded the Daniel Pearl Memorial Violin, and is now a featured performer in the stage show "A Ride with Bob" fronted by Ray Benson (Asleep at the Wheel).
