Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is seeking an Off-Centered Senior Graphic Designer to join our highly imaginative and creative, but artistically challenged team! In this super cool role, you’ll create designs that exude off-centeredness as you visually support and expand the vibe, feel and story of Dogfish. You’ll fill the creative design void of our sales/marketing, production, restaurant and administrative teams through the development and delivery of nifty branded artwork, publications, materials, marketing, swag, supplies and so forth. Basically, if it seems even remotely artistic, you’ll have a hand in it. You’ll coordinate the prudent use of vendors in the support of design initiatives, adhering to project timelines, budgets and so forth. You’ll be the gatekeeper who archives, organizes, maintains and releases (as appropriate) the library of Dogfish companies logos, photographs, artwork, animations, film, marketing materials and creative branded images.
The qualified candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in fine arts or graphic design. You must have a minimum 3 years graphic design experience. More significant career experience may replace part of the undergrad requirement. You must have a very strong portfolio showing a diverse range of stellar brand focused design work. You gotta have skills with Adobe Creative Suite and the digital camera; web apps and ability with basic sound/video production will be a big plus. You must have exceptional communication skills, written and spoken. You must be able to prioritize assignments and set/adhere to budgets, timelines and commitments. Whew.
