1) the little arm to help remove the screen pops out of place far to easy. The concept is great, I followed in instructions and then after sitting 10 min i go to remove the screen and the handle pops out of the holes! Since it hardly goes into the holes there is nothing to hold it into place when any effort is put to pull it out.
2) The screen has grooves which hold it in place in the container, these act as a nucleation site and realeses the carbonation very quickly. I have tried this three times and the third time I only used 8-9oz of the bottle to keep the liquid BELOW the screen which helped to keep it carbonated by the time I drank it.
Overall I would not recomend this, the fact that the screen causes the beer to go flat while infusing flavors and that you can not easily remove the screen without the handle popping out ruins it for me
so i just tried to set up my randall jr for the first time and the bottom literally broke out while i was trying to snap the screen into place. ilm not sure why they made them out of glass in the first place but i plan on calling dfh and letting them know about it.
I'll be surprised in DFH doesn't just delete this whole thread. They talk a good game about being "off-centered" but they want to surpress the Randall Scandall just like any other bully organization.
No instead they just delete my post because I refuse to blindly cheerlead for a crappy product.

Well, well, well. Looks as if I was right on target with calling BS on Scandall Jr. being "sold out."
Randall Jr. Still "sold out." my prediction is looking correct. Randall Jr. Was pulled due to complaints and isn't coming back any time soon.

Gutless.
I have a few problems with my new Randall Jr.
