Dear Dogfish Head community,
I am a recent graduate from CU Boulder looking to brew beer professionally. I did very well as an architecture major and love to home brew. So how do I find good work at a micro brewery? What is the best way to get my foot in the door? What can I apply for at DFH?

Congrats!
If you wanna brew commercially, my first piece of advice is ... keep homebrewing!
While you are at it, volunteer! Many small breweries and brewpubs love an extra set of hands around on brew day. You might be prepping or cleaning, but that's a lot of what happens in a brewery day-in and day-out
Also, think education! We hire (FT and interns) from brewing programs like the UC Davis program.
Finally, in terms of getting your foot in the door - there is no sure-fire path. We've had brewers start out in our brewpub, our packaging line and our tour area.
Here is a list of our current openings: http://www.dogfish.com/company/jobs/index.htm
Good luck & cheers!
