I apologize to all of the lovers of hops that I might horrify by asking about hop free beer
My kegerator has been empty since I discovered I am allergic to hops. I have little hope finding a keg of a brew I can drink, but I would be happy with bottles I could get locally. Does Dogfish(and how often) make gruits or other older hop free recipes? I would love to find something.

All of our beers contain some amount of hops. Specifially, Midas Touch contains Simcoe hops.
You could try doing a mead. I am watching that modern marvels episode right now and it seems that a ton of beer was made without hops, but rather with different spices. Heck they said the pilgrams hopped their beer with pine (gross I know). I would recommend lightening the beer with rice though if you don't want it to be really, really sweet.
Try the book Radical Brewing also. It has a ton of cool recipes from the days of old. Cheers!
