I bought a case of 120 just over a year ago not realizing what the born on date was! It would turned 3 years old onDecember 18, 2009...I just opened the case and not only is it the best 120 IPA I ever tasted but it turned not believers intoDogfish Headlovers! I'm going to keep the rest of the case for another year, IT CAN ONLY GET BETTER!!!

06' 120 Minute

Holy Smokes!  4 years of aging changes everything!

Aroma of malty sweetness, hints of caramel. Very little hop aroma. Good carbonation with above average head retention. Sweet onset, but yet balanced with hop bitterness. Warm finish with the bitterness gently residing on the sides of the tongue. - '06 Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA

Well done Dogfish Head!  Is there such thing as a "Vintage" beer style?  You can't brew what I just tasted without proper aging.

BTW: 03' World Wide Stout was amazing last weekend.  Brought it down to Richmond, VA to a fellow homebrewer of mine.

Yes, age your DFH Beers!!!!!

I have a 120 from 2006.  And I think I have an Immort Ale from each year since 2006.  Tonight I'm drinking an Olde School Barleywine that I think is from 2007.  WOW!

It's difficult to not drink them when you buy them, but they get so mellow and refined with age.

A 7-year old Immort Ale (THAT'S FROM 2003!!!)

When it's below 20 degrees for a few nights in a row - it pushes me toward my beer cellar.

Tonight I found an Immort Ale marked January 2003.

WOW!  My wife and I thought it scrumpous.  Smmoooooooooth and mellow, with the characteristic Immort vanilla and maple.
