

Best Pot Roast Ever:
2.5 - 3 lb chuck roast,
1 large vidalia sliced into 1/4 inch think rings,
1 can stewed tomatoes drained,
2 Tbls Worchestershire sauce,
1/2 teaspoon of minced garlic (or more)
pinch of sea salt,
liberal ground pepper,
a dash of Old Bay seasoning,
one can of Campbell's beef consume,
1/3 bottle of Dogfish Head Raison D'Etre beer (drink the rest... and another).
Put it all in a crock pot and set it for 6-8 hours.
It'll make your tongue jump out yer mouth and beat yer brains out!!! It's so Good...

Dude, old bay is awesome on just about anything. Good to see someone is using it on something other than chicken or crabs! I think it goes well mixed in with pizza, ziti and tuna steak marinades. I have not done a pot roast in a while but will have to try soon.
I like it on Scalloped Potatoes and in my Alfredo sauce especially when my Alfredo involves some type of seafood. I have also used it in BBQ and Deviled Eggs. Old Bay even makes a tarter sauce now. Oh wait this was cooking with beer. Hmm boil brats in Indian Brown Ale with a teaspoon of Old Bay and then throw them on the grill to finish them. Serve with spicy mustard and saurkraut and more Indian Brown Ale...whew back on topic LOL.
