For our chemistry class we need to brew our own beer and than add a single ingredient in the process, so that we can prove it's in the beer after the brewing.
The chemistry part of the assingmet isnt a problem, but I can't think of anything orgiginal that doesn't taste too bad. Also it is important that i can find the moleculair structure of it.
So my question, do you have any ideas about what to add? Don't bother about the chemistry part, I just really need some idea's. If it's usable for the assignment is something i can decide for my own. I just need some inspiration.

Sounds like a fun project. When it comes to brewing, the sky is the limit. Just try adding flavors you like.
* Do you like light, fruity beers? Try adding juice from peaches or pears.
* Do you like dark, dessert-like beers? You could add chocolate or coffee.
* Do you like beer with a little spice? Try ginger root or star anise.
You should be able to find a huge selection of ingredients on the websites of homebrew stores. Good luck!
