I am and have been a longtime fan! A fellow beer fanatic located in the Buffalo, NY area that is anxiously waiting for Olde School to arrive in the local beer stores...... planning to 'buy them out' :) Reason for my forum blog if that’s what they’re called, I recently had the idea after a few pints while starring at my Dogfish Steampunk Clock to do the following:
*** ‘THE LADDER’ *** which is, to start a bottle of 60 min.. then 75 min & so on...90 min……… 120 min
Then the trick is coming back down the ladder……… Being that this was the first-time for the event we basically were only looking to go up the ladder. Well at this point that’s what we could only do since it was my last 75min bottle saved from March when it was 1st released & bottled (now I’m waiting for that to also get here in WNY which should be any day) I didn’t have another 75min bottle to ‘fully complete’ coming back down the ladder, so I ended with another 90min after the 120.
Oh yeah and I made some pretty basic but cool, unique t-shirts for myself and father-in-law to wear after we concurred the challenge! They were done with iron on letters & logos on black t-shirts. The front had three simplistic logos across the chest: a dog , then a fish , then a skullhead = a rudimentary version, Dog-fish -head On the back it shows: Ladder at the top under the neck line along with these numbers below going up the middle of the shirt from 60 at the bottom working up the ladder to 120 at the top...
