I have to be completely honest in saying that I passed up Dogfish Head beer in the cooler case at least 20-30 times while at the store. With its puny 1-2 shelf space and its price point of around $13 for only 4 bottles I didn't even give it a second look. And in California I hadn't heard of it much except maybe from BeerWars that I had watched twice on netflix.
Sam seemed like a passionate and cool dude so one day in the store I decided to give it a go. I mean how bad could it be?!
Fast forward to home ->> I put the beer in the freezer (90 min IPA) for a few minutes to chill. Had some visitors and decided to pop one open. OMG! My opinions of IPA's changed that very day. The beer was so rich, creamy(IMO) and delicious!!! I have talked about the beer at work and now have a few more people are going to give it a go!
I have even placed an order at Bevmo to try Midas Touch and other DFH brews now!
I live within 5 miles of a microbrewery called Hangar 24 in Redlands, CA and support everything they do. Thanks for all your hard work and I will continue to support Craft Brews for many years to come now including Dogfish Head!
Dont ever give into the pressure of InBev!!
Thanks again Sam and team
