Going out on a limb with my homebrews and creating my first specialty beer from scratch. Making a Butterscotch Ale (Extract Recipe) and trying to figure out the best way to impart the butterscotch flavor into the beer.
Initial thought was simple syrul with Werthers Butterscotch Candy but also thought I could purchase Butterscotch flaving and just add to secondary.
Need some advice on which would be best to use? Please HELP!!!!!!!!
