Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is seeking a dependable, detail and safety oriented, warehouse operator to join our super awesome and growing warehouse team. Under general supervision of the Off-Centered Warehouse Manager, you will keep the warehouse and everything it stores in tip top shape and on the move through the efficient coordination of equipment, materials and beers. You will accurately pick, stage and verify outgoing orders of product and materials (most importantly our yummy beer) for outgoing shipments, in addition to receiving incoming products and materials. You will also maintain the cleanliness, organization and working order of the warehouse and loading docks, as well as perform general preventive maintenance of warehouse equipment on a regularly scheduled basis. Are you off-centered enough to hang with this wild and crazy warehouse group? The qualified candidate will be detail, task and safety oriented. Qualified candidates should also have excellent written and spoken communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates must have a minimum of two years warehouse operation experience. A couple of years experience working in a fast paced-production environment, preferably food/beverage production, would be helpful. Prior forklift experience required; prior experience operating tall mast lifts is preferred. Must have and maintain a valid drivers license with a good driving record. Must also be able to obtain and maintain a valid DFH forklift certification. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and maneuver 160 lb kegs easily through course of the entire shift, twist/turn, reach over shoulders and stand/walk on a continual basis. Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is seeking a skilled, self-motivated off-centered Multi-Craft Maintenance Mechanic to join our rapidly growing maintenance department. This position will be second shift Monday- Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm-ish. Under general supervision of the off-centered Maintenance Manager, you will perform a variety of different tasks utilizing your wide array of mechanical and technical knowhow. Some of the knowhow in your handy dandy bag of tricks includes things like mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair on production machines. Utilizing your mechanical and technical skills you will perform preventive maintenance and installation tasks to support the production process, prescribe preventive maintenance, repair existing equipment (and modify if needed- welding and fabrication skills a must), install new systems, troubleshoot machinery, as well as detect and report defective materials and/or questionable conditions to the off-centered Maintenance Manager. A maintenance mechanic with proven knowhow and a get it done attitude will likely do well. The qualified candidate will be detail, task and safety oriented with a strong work ethic and high quality work. A high school diploma or the equivalent; completion of a craft apprenticeship and/or maintenance experience in a production environment required. Minimum 5 years manufacturing mechanical experience in a production and/or industrial environment with working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills; HVAC exposure and previous experience with high speed packaging and bottling equipment is preferred. Basic millwright and plumbing skills required. Familiarity with computer applications including Microsoft Office software and CMMS required. Prior experience with sanitary/hygienic equipment (pumps, piping, CIP systems), in-process instrumentation (pH, conductivity, density, turbidity, O2, CO2), and experience with high levels of automation, PLCs, DCS, Siemens or Rockwell/AB a plus. Previous wastewater and utilities experience is helpful. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and sustain work overhead including use of power/hand tools for extended periods of time. Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is seeking an off-centered Wastewater Technician to join our super busy wastewater team of three. Under general supervision of the off-centered Wastewater Supervisor, the wastewater technician helps to keep our wastewater moving from the brewery to the fields for application (this helps to ensure that beer can be continuously made). You will ensure that wastewater removal takes place in a timely, efficient, documented and compliant matter. You will also monitor vehicles and systems to ensure fitness for use and constant removal on-time, as well as tracking vehicle maintenance schedules and performing minor routine services. You will transport wastewater from the facility to its final destination (i.e. the fields for application) where you will then be tasked with the actual land application. In addition to the land application of the water, you will also assist in processing the hay that the water helps to grow (previous experience with farming equipment is super helpful). You will maintain detailed logs, as well as maintain proper permits and document records with regard to the wastewater program. You will maintain clean vehicles, wastewater facilities and storage areas. You will also perform other maintenance duties as requested, including cleaning and providing support to peers in order to maintain a high level of productivity during unscheduled downtime.The qualified candidate will have a minimum high school diploma or the equivalent. The qualified candidate must also hold an active drivers license in good standing and be able to pass all applicable driving physicals, a class B drivers license a plus. Previous experience with wastewater and/or wastewater certification a plus. Previous experience with farming equipment also a plus.
