Dogfish Head Craft Brewery has a once in a lifetime opportunity to join our dynamic sales force as a Regional Sales Manager in the Off-Centered Southeast currently encompassing Texas, Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. There is potential for this region to build/reshape if the successful candidate possesses the necessary skills, experience, knowledge and motivation to champion new/growing market(s). The RSM will work closely with regional distributors, key retail, and restaurant accounts to promote and foster brand loyalty and development. You will be required to travel over 50% of the time to markets within your region. During the course of travel, you will be responsible for work-withs and distributor training. Another key responsibility will be hosting beer dinners, festivals and promotions throughout your territory. You will provide in-depth and detailed reporting and market analysis to enable good decision-making within your marketplace. The qualified candidate will have a bachelors degree in Marketing, Biz or other relevant discipline. You must have a minimum 3 years sales support, sales rep or distributor experience, preferably (strong emphasis here, yall) in the craft beer business. More significant career experience may replace part of the undergrad requirement. You gotta be able to work late nights, early mornings, weekend and holidays as necessary to support sales activities. You must be able to maintain your sobriety and professionalism while working in environments where the taps may be flowing, and a clean driving record is essential. Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is seeking an off-centered, highly skilled and experienced Packaging Operator to join our Packaging Team on a rotating shift. Under general supervision of the Packaging Supervisor, you will keep the beer flowing into bottles, cases and kegs. You will perform cleaning and sanitation efforts to ensure the Packaging line is always ready for action. You will help the team achieve quality benchmarks through the completion of various quality line initiatives. You will be in tune with the equipment to perform basic maintenance as needed or provide quick notification to the Packaging Mechanic for other significant line stoppages or various during-run concerns. The qualified candidate will have a minimum high school diploma or the equivalent. A minimum of two years of production bottling line experience is preferred. Some basic mechanical ability or experience performing routine machine maintenance is a huge plus. Forklift certification or experience is a plus; ability to become Dogfish Head forklift certified is required. You must be dependable, reliable and have a great team-ethic. You should have a strong focus on quality, safety and efficiency. You must be able to lift up to 55 pounds and stand for the length of the shift. Must be able to twist/turn, stoop and bend. Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is seeking a passionate, technically gifted, quality focused, safety driven, and team oriented brewer to join our brewing team. Our brewers are responsible for the day to day brewing operations from receipt of raw materials, combining of recipe ingredients through to cellaring in preparation for smooth packaging delivery. While there is intense creativity in every bottle we turn out, our brewers adhere to recipes and SOPs to achieve the best possible consistency of taste and experience of our drinkers. Youll work in tandem with our Quality team, and document processes to ensure that every bottle and keg is tight. Youll take ownership of the processes on your scheduled shift (currently 8 hours), which will rotate to include nights and possibly weekends. Youll do a lot of other stuff and have fun doing it. We seek an accountable, reliable person who is adverse to cutting corners and takes immense pride in the work they produce. You must be able to closely adhere to procedures and guidelines, including following recipes per exact specification and implementing detailed cleaning regimens. While we show love to our homebrewers, the successful candidate for this role will have formal training at an accredited brewing school or Associates degree in an applicable science. Must have a minimum of 5 years practical brewing experience in a production environment. Must be able to lift 55 pounds, twist/turn, reach over shoulders, bend/stoop and stand/walk on a continual basis. Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is seeking an off-centered, organized, self-motivated Accounting Inventory Control Clerk with an eye for detail. Under general supervision of the Off-Centered Controller, you will act as a liaison between the accounting and warehouse worlds. This position will help manage day-to-day inventory control to ensure the production departments can keep on movin-n-groovin (Dogfish Style). This position will assist the accounting and warehouse departments in many ways including: entering data into Great Plains, fulfilling orders, compiling and maintaining data/records, investigating and reporting inventory discrepancies, preparing reports and conducting cycle counts. The qualified candidate will be detail, task-oriented and organized...a high level of accuracy is a must. You should have excellent written and spoken communication skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft office software applications; previous Great Plains experience is a plus. An Associates degree in Business Administration, Accounting or other relevant discipline is required. Previous data entry/book keeping experience is a plus. Previous exposure to a warehouse environment would be helpful. Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs, twist/turn, reach over shoulders and stand/walk on a continual basis. Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats is seeking an experienced, highly creative and craft beer savvy Kitchen Manager to bring some off-centered flavor to our Rehoboth Beach brewpub! While the food we turn out is yummy, the menu it seems has become quite ho hummy. Enter you. One of your first (and very important ongoing) jobs will be to reinterpret and redefine what it means to run a Dogfish-centric kitchen, i.e. menu development, beer pairing, beer as ingredient, local and fresh bent. And if that isnt enough to whet your appetite, the KM will also be charged with elevating BOH operations through support, encouragement and continual job, process, people and kitchen improvement. Youll run a clean, sanitary, highly functional and financially sound kitchen through effective staffing, accurate costing/budgeting, minimizing waste and inefficiency, and keeping all equipment in highly functional working order.
