Dogfish Head Craft Brewery and Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats take pride in partnering with local nonprofit organizations through donations of our great beer, brewpub gift certificates and offcentered Dogfish merchandise. Our goal in any Beer & Benevolence partnership is to help you achieve your goal of making a substantive difference in our community.
Some of our Beer & Benevolence initiatives are things we work to make happen right here in coastal Delaware. Our biggest effort of the year is our Dogfish Dash - a slightly off-centered 5 & 10K. Over the past few years, the Dogfish Dash has raised more than $30,000 for the Delaware chapter of The Nature Conservancy. In addition, we host Beer & Benevolence benefit nights at our Rehoboth Beach brewpub and create all sorts of other fun, worthwhile partnerships! But that's not all... there are lots of YOU out there doing amazing things wed love to help everyone out, but thats just not possible (we gotta make beer sometime)! Due to the frequency and extent of recent requests, weve established the following guidelines for ourselves when considering eligible organizations for our Beer & Benevolence program.
Donation requests will be considered if your organization meets the following criteria:
A qualified organization is limited to one donation receipt within a 12month period.
Dogfish Head Craft Brewery will donate a maximum of five cases of beer to any one organization. Additional beer may be purchased, by the organization (or a generous person affiliated with the organization) for the event at our fantasticallylow employee discount prices.
Since we are in the business of making alcohol, we carefully consider donations of beer to any agency/organization relating to kids, or fund raising activity that directly benefits children. It is our intention to refrain from the appearance that we are advertising our company or products to anyoneunder the legal drinking age.
We also choose not to donate to any event or agency relating to motor sports or involving motor vehicles. We consider it our civic duty not to mix the unmixable.
Requests for donations must be received in writing by Dogfish Head at least 90 days prior to the event.
Donation requests must fit within our Beer & Benevolence budget duh! We know it sounds obvious, but we have a certain amount of beer and stuff we can give away each month. If we have hit our budget for the month in which you will need to pick up your donation, we will not be able to work with you this time around sorry.
Monetary donations and sponsorship requests are partnerships we take seriously. Our company and our employees have longstanding relationships with the organizations to which we provide any monetary support. Sponsorship decisions are made on an annual basis. It is recommended that any requests for event or team sponsorship are made by August 31 of the year prior to the request, as our budgetingkicks off in September.

Please note: ALL DONATIONS MUST BE PICKED UP AT THE MILTON BREWERY. PICKUP DAYS ARE MONDAY THROUH FRIDAY, 9 AM TO 5 PM AND MUST BE PREARRANGED. NO EXCEPTIONS.
