A 2003 Vintage WorldWide Stout and Festina Lente were awarded bronze medals at the 2006 Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado.
The 2003 WorldWide Stout won the bronze medal in the Aged Beer category, the Festina Lente in the Belgian-Style Sour Ale category.
More than 41,000 people attended the 25th anniversary of the famous beer event (that's up from 29,500 in 2005!). The festival ran four sessions over three days inside Denver's Colorado Convention Center at the end of September.
During the festival, 384 breweries served 1650 different beers from booths on the festival floor. Dogfish poured a variety of beers including 120 Minute IPA, Chateau Jiahu, Red & White, Black & Blue, Fed-Extra Mild, Ginger Peach Wheat, Punkin Ale and 90 Minute IPA (through Randall The Enamel Animal).
For the judging portion of the event, 2,402 beers competed for medals in 69 different categories.
