Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is mooving on up........ and out!

We can now announce Phase 2 of our multi-step expansion of the Milton, Delaware brewery is complete - we have lots of brand new warehouse space.

Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is mooving on up........ and out!

We can now announce Phase 2 of our multi-step expansion of the Milton, Delaware brewery is complete - we have lots of brand new warehouse space. Our forklifts have been busy this month filling the 60,000 square-foot addition with finished cases and kegs, and lots, and lots of raw materials.

To recap (in case you just joined this already-in-progress expansion)....

Phase 1 - New Packaging Line (completed 6/05)

Phase 2 - New, Huge Warehouse (completed 1/06)

Phase 3 - Adding A Bunch Of Fermenting Tanks (6/04 - 3/06)

Phase 4 - New Brewhouse to go online (estimated complete by 12/06)

Phase 5 - Milton Restaurant Added (who knows - maybe 2008?)

We've already started on Phase 3 ... so, stay tuned!

Hello fellow craft-beer-loving-type people. Things are really chugging along here at Dogfish as we install four new 600 bbl bright tanks, two new 600 hundred barrel fermenters, and a sweet new mill that takes our daily brewing capacity from 700 barrels to 900 barrels....
