On Sunday, September 10, 2006 Pete Slosberg, of Cocoa Pete"s Chocolate Adventures, will take participants on an edible (and drinkable) journey. The chocolatier, who in a previously life created and founded Pete's Wicked Ale, will lead the journey. Pete will provide a chocolate and beer educational overview, walk the group through some beer and chocolate pairings, and present an edible example of chocolate used in food preparation.
As the founder of Pete's Brewing Company in 1986, and the creator of Pete's Wicked Ale, Pete is the face behind one of the most recognized craft beers in America, and raised the bar for beer drinkers everywhere. Now, he's doing the same for chocolate with Cocoa Pete's Chocolate Adventures. He started Cocoa Pete's with a mission similar to the one he had for his beer company: make world-class chocolate accessible to the mass market and elevate people's expectations as to what constitutes the really good stuff.
Cocoa Pete's Chocolate Adventure begins at 7:00pm on Sunday, September 10, 2006 at Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats at 320 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach, DE. The cost is $15.00 per person. Advance reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 302-226-BREW.
