Dogfish Celebrates American Craft Beer Week

Dogfish Head is joining with craft brewers across this great land of our to celebrate American Craft Beer Week May 11-17, 2009. All week breweries, brewpubs, homebrewers and beer-lovers will celebrate the culture and contributions of craft beer to the American landscape.

Declare your independence by supporting true American craft breweries!

How can you participate? Well here are some of our ideas...

1) Tour your local brewery, or road trip to visit one you've always wanted to check out. We'll be offering free brewery tours of our Milton, Delaware brewery Tuesday - Saturday. Click here to reserve your spot on one of our tours. We'll also offer a free tour at our Rehoboth Beach brewpub/distillery on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at 5:00pm.

2) Educate Yourself! Did you know that pairing your beers with great food can make them taste even better? In celebration of American Craft Beer Week, we're offering two beer & food pairing classes/dinners at our Rehoboth Beach brewpub. Join us either Monday, May 11th or Wednesday, May 13th to learn about pairing beer and food, have a great time, and get dinner!

3) Enjoy great American craft beer! Pick up your favorite American craft beer to enjoy during the week AND pickup something from an American craft brewery that you've never even tried before... a bottle, a 4 or 6-pack, a case, whatever! Declare you independence by supporting one of the 1400 independent breweries in America!
