TEDxPennQuarteris a local, independently organized event that strives to re-create the destinct experience found at TED, where the world's leading thinkers and doers congregate to share what tthey are most passionate about. At it's core, the fundamental goal of TED is to foster and spread great ideas.

Now in it's sophmore year, TEDxPennQuarter brings together a diverse group of speakers from various domains to present their ideas and stories around the theme: REINVENTINGx. The conference will be held at the Woolly Mammoth Theater Company on Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Our goal is for the various groups of speakers and attendees to learn from one another and leave the conference creatively driven to improve our collective future.

ABOUTTEDx:

In the spirit of ideas Worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized TED event. TheTEDConference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized and subject to certain rules and regulations.
